School of Nursing & Midwifery
History
The oldest school of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences is the school of Nursing & Midwifery. The establishment of the school goes back to 1983 which was under the name of "Narjes" and started its activities and training midwives in the associate degree.
Followed in 1988 with undergraduate nursing students, the School of Nursing and Midwifery officially "was established.
In 1991 the first course of Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery discontinuous reception, and then in 2003 was the first period began studying midwifery, nursing first postgraduate course in 2011 was accepted. Admission in the postgraduate midwifery is being pursued.
The school has 19 midwifery courses, 21 undergraduate batch Midwifery, 27 and 17 undergraduate nursing curriculum intermittent nursing, midwifery and 4 of 12 postgraduate courses in nursing daily and 1 international postgraduate courses education has approved them.
